As the schools start back up in the Fall, most likely online due to the Governor’s order, we are ready to help you find imaginative solutions that will work for your students on your platform.
In the final months of the 2019-2020 school year, we worked hard to ensure we were able to assist Disability Resource offices and School Administrators continue reaching their students at home. Here are a few of the options we provided and can now offer to you and your students.
Video Embed/Overlays
This works for PowerPoint presentations with audio voiceover or videos that are pre-recorded. We simply have our interpreters provide ASL Interpretation and add their video to a corner or to the side of the video you provide. Much like you see on TV during an Emergency address from a state or local official.
Homework Assistance
This works great for kids at Elementary school age. You would provide us with the written passages meant to be read and examined by students for Q&A. We have an ASL interpreter provide these passages and Questions in ASL so they can be understood in the student’s native language.
Videos of ASL for blog posts or school updates for the children or families of children. This could be a video of any new policies being put in place such as mask, washing hands, etc in regards to COVID-19.
Video Remote Interpreting
Video Remote Interpreting available (most times) within 30 minutes of the request for student meetings, parent-teacher conferences, or IEPs.
If you would like to meet via video to discuss possible solutions created specifically for your platform or curriculum, please reach out and let us help you find a cost-effective, reasonable, and easy approach for your staff, students, and families.
We look forward to being part of the solution for your 2020-2021 school year.
Thank you in advance for your consideration!
